Literacy
|
The Ashwaubenon School District is dedicated to increasing the reading achievement of all students. Our balanced literacy curriculum includes shared reading (K-2), reading aloud, word study, writing and a reading workshop. This child-centered program is intended to provide students with multiple opportunities to grow as readers and writers and to build upon their language development. Within a literacy-rich environment, we teach students the appropriate grade level reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language standards.
