Substitute Teachers
Ashwaubenon School District accepts all applications exclusively through the Wisconsin Education Career Access Network (WECAN).
We are seeking individuals for the position of Substitute Teacher. Interested candidates must be a certified teacher or hold WI DPI Licensure #43 (Substitute). Individuals holding a substitute permit AND bachelor's degree or associate's degree will also be considered.
For those individuals who hold an associate's degree or bachelor's degree, other than in education, and are interested in obtaining a substitute permit, training is available at either CESA 6 or CESA 7. Successful completion of either program is required prior to being considered.

- Noon Duty Supervisors (Indoor and Outdoor)
All new substitutes are required to pass a criminal background check and undergo TB screening.
Substitute Pay Rates for 2023-2024:
Teachers:
$172.00 per day, or
$89.00 per half day only, or
$245.19 per day for long term
Support Staff:
$15.70 per hour for Classroom and Special Education Aides
$15.39 per hour for Food Service
$14.36 per hour for Noon Duty Supervisors
