The Ashwaubenon School District is committed to providing an education that will prepare all students for success. Members of our staff partner with students and families to achieve world class excellence in education so each child can reach his or her full potential. Academic achievement, with the emphasis on relationships with students, is the driving force behind the goals for curriculum and performance in the Ashwaubenon School District.
Our teachers are highly qualified professionals who devote many hours to making sure our students are well-prepared for a future in college, their chosen career, or the community. The district encourages teachers to increase their knowledge and skills through staff development programs that include opportunities to take graduate level college classes within the district, attendance at workshops throughout the state, and district staff development opportunities.
The role of this department is to guide, coordinate, and plan implementation and evaluation of curriculum and instruction in the district. We also provide professional development for our staff to support continuous improvement of instructional strategies and learning for our students. Finally, we ensure assessment and grading practices assist our staff in developing instruction that is responsive to the needs of our students and provides parents with the information they need to understand their child’s learning. Several 4K-12 leadership teams consisting of teachers and building administrators assist with school and learning improvement efforts.
