Monthly Reading Incentives
This page contains information about the monthly reading incentives available at Valley View Elementary School for the 2019-20 school year. Suspended for the 2020-21 school year
The reading goals that each grade level have established are as follows:
- 1st Grade: 200 minutes per month, 10 minutes per night
- 2nd Grade: 300 minutes per month, 15 minutes per night
- 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade: 400 minutes per month, 20 minutes per night

Green Bay Gamblers' "School is Cool" Hockey Game
Game date: Saturday, November 30, 2019 - 7:05pm
Students meeting monthly reading goal will receive a voucher good for one free student ticket to the School is Cool hockey event.

Texas Roadhouse (or other restaurant) Coupon
Students meeting monthly reading goal will receive a coupon for a free kid's meal.

Six Flags' Read to Succeed!
Students reading 6 hours between December 1st and March 31st can register online for one free student ticket to Six Flags in Gurnee Mills, IL. Classroom teacher will send ticket home with student towards end of school year. Ticket is valid for summer 2020.

Event: Girls' Varsity Baskeball vs Sheboygan South
Game date: Friday, February 14, 2020 - 7:00pm
Students meeting monthly reading goal will receive one free student admission to this AHS sporting event.

Students meeting monthly reading goal will receive a voucher for a free Hall of Fame admission for 1 child.

Please hold onto completed March reading calendars. We will collect them when school resumes in April.

Game date: Friday, May 29, 2020 - 6:35 PM
Students meeting monthly reading goal will receive 2 free admission tickets, 2 hot dogs, and 2 sodas.
