Mission Statement


The Valley View Parent Teacher Organization (VVPTO) includes you: all parents, families, teachers, community volunteers, and administrators.

The purpose of our team is to foster a sense of pride, enthusiasm and excellence as we strive to achieve the educational goals of the school and enrich the learning experiences of our students.

Through fundraising and family activities, we will promote positive school and community relationships that enhance our children’s educational experience.


Our PTO sponsors a wide variety of programs and events.

Valley View PTO Fundraising Opportunities


  Spring Carnival   
 


The Valley View Spring Carnival is the PTO's largest fundraiser of the year and has many opportunities for volunteers to participate.  Contact  PTO at vvpto@ashwaubenon.k12.wi.us for more information.
 


Box Tops
 


Please clip box tops coupons from any of the participating products listed on the program's web site http://www.boxtops4education.com/  and send them to school with your child. Every box top helps!

Labels for Education
 


Please clip and save your Campbell's labels!  Send them to school with your child.  For more information go to www.labelsforeducation.com.

Milk Caps
 


Collect  your milk caps from plastic gallon milk containers, cottage cheese and many products throughout the school year.  Send them into school for the school to earn 5¢ per cap from participating companies.
 


Scholastic Book Fair
 


Typically held in the LMC during Parent/Teacher conferences. This provides an opportunity to get books for your children as well as donations for your child's classroom. We need help with setup, cashier duties, straightening and clean up. To help, email vvpto@ashwaubenon.k12.wi.us
 


My Coke Rewards


You can donate your Coke Rewards points online at  http://www.mycokerewards.com/showLBE.do?skinType=category&id=27 and select Valley View as the school you want to support or send them in to school and we’ll do it for you.
 


Target


Target's Take Charge of Education Program
If you are a Target RED card holder, please designate Valley View Elementary School (school ID 108000) as your school of choice.  Go online at

Marcus Theater
 


Our Marcus Theater fundraiser occurs in the winter, just in time for the holidays. Watch for the order form to be sent home with your
child(ren). 


Mr. Z's
The Mr. Z's fundraiser takes place in late October.  Students sell pizzas and other treats to family and friends.  Watch for the order form to be sent home with your child(ren).

RIF Distribution


Reading is Fundamental
RIF is the oldest and largest children's and family nonprofit literacy organization in the United States. Through community volunteers, RIF provides free books to every Valley View student twice a year. To help with distribution or with any questions, please email the PTO at
vvpto@ashwaubenon.k12.wi.us.


Popcorn Parties


To encourage a HERO attitude, responsibility and respect, teachers can request popcorn parties to reward their classroom. To help, please email the PTO.


Laminating


To assist teachers, a PTO member assists with laminating.


Weekly Wednesday


Communication from school to home is sent via email, however when necessary, our Friday Folders will be used for information that requires a signature or special notice.   Please make sure your email on record is current.


Bulletin Boards


If you have an artistic flair and would like to contribute to the seasonal appearance of our school, contact your child's teach or send an email to

Lunch


Having a special person join our students for lunch is a experience that everyone enjoys but it takes many hands to make this event a success. To help, email to
