Welcome to Valley View Elementary School

Valley View Elementary educates approximately 680 students in grades one through five, with an average class size of 22 children. Located on the Northeast side in the village of Ashwaubenon, Valley View is only four blocks from historic Lambeau Field. When our fifth grade students leave Valley View, they move on to Parkview Middle School and then complete their K-12 journey at Ashwaubenon High School. GO JAGUARS!

Valley View teachers utilize cooperative teamwork to facilitate a school environment where the focus is on children, their development and their total learning.Teachers at Valley View are passionate about children and teaching. Our teachers love to learn. As a result they inspire a lifelong love of learning for the children in our school.

Valley View 4th Graders To Skype With Pen Pals From Ecuador
On May 23rd, Jennifer Nelson's 4th grade Spanish students at Ashwaubenon's Valley View Elementary School will Skype with their pen pals from Ecuador. This activity is part of a grant project entitled "Bringing Everyone Together with Technology." Mrs. Nelson was awarded an NEA Student Achievement grant to help increase Spanish language acquisition and cultural awareness for her students. The Skype session will take place from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the school on 2200 True Lane.

Valley View Receives $1,000 OMNOVA Grant
Ashwaubenon's Valley View Elementary School is the recipient of a $1,000 grant from the OMNOVA Solutions Foundation. The funds will be used to support developing 21st century teaching and learning spaces at Valley View.

Ashwaubenon Advances Record Seven Teams To Global DI Competition
Ashwaubenon schools qualified seven Destination ImagiNation (DI) teams to compete at the Global Tournament in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 24-26. Fifteen Ashwaubenon teams competed at DI's State Tournament in Stevens Point on April 14th. In addition to the seven teams advancing to Globals, two Ashwaubenon teams earned special recognition awards. Seven teams marks the most Ashwaubenon has ever advanced to Globals.

Ashwaubenon Senior Citizens Celebrate Dr. Seuss in the Schools
Three Ashwaubenon Schools joined together with Ashwaubenon senior citizens on Friday March 2nd, to share the joy of reading and celebrate the birthday of beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss. Throughout the day senior volunteers read Dr. Seuss stories to 17 classes at Cormier Kindergarten Center, 19 classes at Pioneer Elementary School and 30 classes at Valley View Elementary School.

Valley View Fourth Grader Wins State Postcard Contest
Samuel Stanko, a fourth grade student at Ashwaubenon's Valley View Elementary School, has been selected as the state-wide Elementary School winner in the Wisconsin Association of Foreign Language Teachers (WAFLT) Discover Languages Student Postcard Contest. Students were to design a postcard which depicted this year's WAFLT Fall Conference theme - Languages, the Original Social Network. Samuel's design will be used when world language educators communicate to schools, homes and communities.
