| 05/21/2009 - The Ashwaubenon High School DECA team sent three members to the International Competition in Anaheim, California last month. Nikhitha Murali finished in the 10% internationally, thus earning a medal, for her written test in the Business Services category. |

| AHS DECA QUALIFIES THREE FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION |
| 03/31/2009 - The Ashwaubenon High School DECA team sent seven members to the State Competition in Lake Geneva on March 17th through 19th. Five members medaled with three of them qualifying for the International Competition in Anaheim, California from April 29th through May 2nd. |

| SCHOOL DISTRICT EARNS UNITED WAY AWARD |
| 02/23/2009 - The Brown County United Way named the Ashwaubenon School District the winner of its 2008 Outstanding Employee Campaign Award for organizations with more than 250 employees. |

| 2008-09 SCHOOL YEAR EXTENDED |
| 02/17/2009 - Because of weather-related school cancellations, the Ashwaubenon School District will be adding one day to the end of its 2008-09 school year. The last day of school will now be Wednesday, June 10th and the last day for teachers will be Thursday, June 11th. |

| AHS DECA QUALIFIES SEVEN FOR STATE COMPETITION |
| 02/04/2009 - The Ashwaubenon High School DECA team competed at the District Four Regional Competition in Kimberly on Saturday, January 10th. The Jaguars earned a first, a second and a third place finish and qualified seven students to compete at the state level taking place on March 17-19. |
