JagTV Education Access Channel / EduVision Video Streaming

 

JAGTV

JagTV is the school district's Education Access Channel. It is provided though a parnership between the school district, the Village of Ashwaubenon and Time-Warner Cable. JagTV is broadcast on Channel 2 for Time-Warner Cable customers in Ashwaubenon. It is separate from the Village's Government Access Channel which is on Channel 4.

Programming on JagTV, which runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, includes:

 
  • School Board meetings (live and rebroadcast)
  • AHS Fridays, a weekly newcast done by AHS students
  • Select Ashwaubenon High School athletic events
  • K-12 student performances such as plays and concerts
  • Educational programs and public service announcements targetted towards students and parents
  • 24-hour bulletin board with announcements, lunch menus, AHS sport schedules, contact info, etc.

EDUVISION

EduVision is a internet streaming video service we started using in Fall 2011. Video streaming allows you to watch uploaded videos whenever you want, instead of having to wait for a scheduled re-broadcast on JagTV. It also expands our video audience to a world-wide audience, an audience beyond the Ashwaubenon community and beyond the reach of JagTV.

Videos uploaded to EduVision include School Board meetings, educational videos such as Valley View Elementary's character education shorts and special events.
