Student Council is your voice in school government! Why should you consider running for Student Council? One of the benefits of being a part of Student Council is to be actively involved in decisions and activities at AHS. It is an opportunity to gain leadership experience and learn first-hand how government works. Student Council also allows students to promote awareness of important issues and demonstrate commitment to their school and community. If you would like to seek nomination to be a Student Council representative, listen for an announcement and watch for the fall nomination papers to become a class representative. Some of the activities and projects in which Student Council members participate:
