Knowledge Master Open (KMO) is a team competition of general knowledge. The team competes together via a computerized program. The competition is held twice a year, once in December and again in April. There is one team for students in grades 10-12, and a separate team of 9th graders. The competitions are fun, with 200 questions covering a huge range of topics in the contest. The team earns points based on the accuracy of their answers, and how quickly they come up with the correct answer. No one will know all of the answers, but you’ll be surprised at how much you and the other team members do know collectively! More information can be found at the website www.greatauk.com.
