Video Production class gives students the opportunity to learn the television and video production process through a real-world, hands-on approach. Students use class time to learn and polish video production techniques as well as AHS extra-curricular events to apply their skills to live telecasts and event production. The course is multi-level so students can work on advanced equipment and productions as their skills improve to the advanced level. The Ashwaubenon educational access cable TV channel gives students the opportunity to air their productions on television. Producing, directing, camera work, audio, and editing are all emphasized. There is also digital, non-linear, computerized editing for students producing news stories and special features.
