Course Description: This is an introductory course in the fundamentals and application of probability, statistics, hypothesis testing, and simple game theory. Use of calculators and computers will be emphasized.

  1. You need to graph the following statistics from the 2006 Major League Baseball Season(http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/historical/player_stats.jsp); HR’s for catchers, RBI’s for first basemen & Stolen Bases for Shortstops.
  2. Once you have found the stats you need to make three graphs for each set of data using minitab
    • Stem & Leaf - increment of 5
    • Dotplot
    • Histogram
