Advanced Video/News Production builds upon basic production skills students learned in Video Production. The students primary responsibility is to produce a weekly TV news show that airs weekends on Ashwaubenon Cable TV Channel 2. Students write the news script, report and produce news stories, do the weather and sports, and edit the show. The course emphasizes producing, directing, editing, audio, and camera work using mainly digital equipment and computerized editing programs like Adobe Premier and Ulead Medial Studio. In addition, students will learn advanced techniques for shooting and editing film productions. Students interested in producing an Independent film for a senior project should take this course.
