Your participation in this activity will be assessed using four different methods. Click on the links below to view the rubrics/assessment tools.

• Your research will be assessed using the Learner Log/Graphic Organizer.
• Your Oral Report and Power Point Presentation will be assessed using the Oral Presentation Rubric.
• Your contribution to the group project will be graded by your peers and the teacher using the Individual Project Rubric.
• The Authentic Multicultural Buffet will be assessed as a major Foods Lab.
   

Conclusion

Hopefully by researching a particular country/culture you will appreciate the diversity of the many kinds of foods, customs and culture from different parts of the world. Through your group's activities, you have learned how to research topics, formulate accurate information and present it in a compelling and interesting manner, gained experience using the computer as a resource, and created a Power Point Presentation. As each group presents their Presidential briefing/Power Point presentation, you have had the opportunity to learn about various cu;tures/countries and ethnic groups. You have had the opportunity to refine your technology skills and have had the opportunity to prepare some authentic recipes. In addition you have had the opportunity to gain greater insight into the diplomatic etiquette.
