 The Ashwaubenon wrestling program strives to develop an exceptional student-athlete and a disciplined, competitive athletic team. Participants can expect a safe, and challenging environment, which builds excellence in skills, teamwork and character. The Jaguar coaching staff demonstrates a sincere interest in the personal, academic and athletic progress of all individuals involved.


The wrestling season begins in November with varsity, junior varsity level competitions and concludes at the end of February. Practices are held everyday and on some Saturdays in the AHS fieldhouse mezzanine area, near the fitness center. Competitions are typically held on Thursday evenings and Saturdays. An organizational meeting takes place the first week of November.

In the past five years, the Jaguar wrestling team has become a conference power crowning 28 conference champions and claiming conference tournament titles in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Jaguar grapplers have advanced to the WIAA Individual State Tournament crowning three State Champions. The Jaguars advanced to the WIAA State Team Tournament in 2008.

Jaguar Wrestlers Win Fox River Classic Conference Title - 2012!
The Ashwaubenon HS Wrestling team beat Manitowoc on Thursday, February 2, 36-29, to win the 2012 Fox River Classic Conference title. Winning wrestlers for Ashwaubenon HS were: 106: Spencer Nelson, A, won by forfeit; 113: Jack Moynihan, A, def. Dylan Conjurski, 12-8; 126: Cody Whipperfurth, A, won by forfeit; 132: Tony Fasulo, A, def. Travis Brixius, 9-6; 160: Jacob Salamonski, A, won by forfeit; 170: Mitchell Cole, A, pin Austin Krueger, 0:38; 195: Cody Miller, A, pin Jared Coffman, 0:23; Match started at 126.
