The basketball season officially begins in mid-November. At this time, each athlete will go through a try-out period of at least 2-3 days. The program consists of one freshman team, a junior varsity team and a varsity team, with each team consisting of 10-15 players. For the freshman and JV teams, the season runs through February and for the varsity, the WIAA tournament begins at the end of February and runs through the beginning of March.

Practices are held 5-6 days a week and run 2 hours long, approximately. Practice times range anywhere from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There will be a pre-season organizational meeting in October that will outline the tryouts and go over the upcoming season for the athletes.

Jaguars Receive #5-seed in WIAA Play-Offs, Open at #4 Seymour
The Ashwaubenon Jaguar Girls Basketball team, 8-13 overall and currently 5-10 in the FRCC, received a #5-seed in the upcoming WIAA Girls Basketball Tournament. They will travel to Seymour High School, to take on the Thunder, who received a #4-seed and are currently 10-10 overall and 8-7 in the Bay Conference. The will be on Friday, March 9, 7pm. AHS Hosting 1st Annual Clay Matthews Football Camp

Ashwaubenon High will host the 1st Annual Clay Matthews Football Camp on Monday-Tuesday, June 11-12.  For more information and to register, click the title above. There will be NO REGISTRATION AT AHS.

Matthews, the Green Bay Packer All-Pro linebacker, will be in attendance for the entire camp.  Coaches from the area and throughout the State will be in attendance at the camp to assist with all coaching responsibilities.
