The mission of the Ashwaubenon Boys Basketball Program is to offer boys in the Ashwaubenon School District, an opportunity to participate in a unified, consistent basketball program.

Our program will teach participants the value of a proper attitude, good sportsmanship, and respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials while improving both their individual and team basketball skills.

It is through skill development that each individual will develop his skill through individual and team concepts provided during team practice. It is an expectation that each individual basketball player take ownership of his own skill development. Each player will be given opportunities to showcase, highlight, or display their acquired skills.

The philosophy is quite simple: Teach the fundamentals of basketball, make it fun, and keep it fair.

The young, Ashwaubenon Jaguar Boys Basketball team, had their season come to an end at the hands of the Pulaski Red Raiders (20-4) on Saturday, March 3, 61-43. On a night that the Jaguars were not hitting their outside shot, and 6'8" junior, Bennett Koch, was being tripled-teamed all night, the memory of their upset victory the night before was long gone. The season was a learning experience for the youthful Jaguars (starting for the Jaguars this year was, one freshman, two sophomores, and two juniors) and the future looks bright as the current team looks to a JV team that has quality players to add to the young returners. Thank you to the seniors who stayed with the program all four years: Matt Beavauis, Brock Denny, Connor Drevs, and Earl Vorpagel. These players were excellent teammates, helped the young players realize what it is like to be a "varsity player", and worked hard all the time.
