Well it's now the fifth year of AHS Supermileage.  The students have a large portion of their fundraising done and are hard at work building their vehicles.

Vehicle #1 is last years contender being refurbished.  The drive line is getting re-engineered to work more efficiently. It's front wheel drive, which is completely different than other schools. It also has hydraulic drum brakes like some cars.  The upper body will be reshaped to be more aerodynamic, lighter, and cool the engine better.  It was green and will probably be repainted some shade of green again.

Vehicle #2 is the new build.  It will be a rear wheel drive.  It has hydraulic disc brakes.  It is coming along and should be drive testable within a couple of weeks.  Which is good considering that the first competition is the end of March.

Time to get the body into shape for the new season and redesign of vehicle #1. Drilling out A arm ends for ball joints for vehicle #1 Vehicle #2 under construction.
