GOAL
We aim to provide the Ashwaubenon students and guests with high-quality foods and services by offering a variety of nutrient dense foods. We strive to serve nutritious and safe meals at a reasonable cost. It is our hope that prices remain constant. Total costs of producing school meals will be reviewed throughout the year to determine if the prices are in pace with inflation.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Breakfast is available on the first day and every day, even on early dismissal days. The menu is set-up similar to a “Continental Breakfast”, consisting of a protein, grain, fruit, and milk. Á la carte breakfast choices are available for grades 6-12. Please approve breakfast participation for K-5 students by calling the school office.
Lunch is available the first day of school. Our meals meet the RDA for key nutrients (protein, calcium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin C), total fat (not to exceed 30% of calories over a school week) and saturated fat (to be less than 10%).
The Free and Reduced Meal Application must be completed and approved before receiving free and reduced meals.

Á LA CARTE PROGRAM
Á la carte is a meal option that offers a variety of foods that are individually priced. Á la carte is NOT part of the Free/Reduced Meal Program.
Families are responsible for all charges. It is offered to students in grades 6-12 that maintain a positive account balance. Parents have the option of blocking Á la carte purchases by notifying the district office, 920.492.2905 Ext. 1006.
PURCHASING A SECOND MEAL
A second meal is available at the regular meal price. Families on a free/reduced meal plan must pay full price for the second meal. Please notify the school or district office if you wish to block the purchase of extra meals.
MEAL CARDS
Student ID bar-coded meal cards are made individually for all K-5 students. These debit cards are used each day to pay for meals. Elementary debit cards, lost / stolen / damaged will be replaced at a cost of $1.00.
TOUCH PADS – AHS and Parkview Middle School use a touch pad for purchases. When a meal number is entered, a pop-up picture verifies the student to the number. It is important that students remember their meal number. Cash sales will be allowed at both schools.
Please note: Freshman will no longer be issued a temporary card. They may use their card from 8th grade (if available) or get their account number from the cashier.
