My name is Melissa Gerrior and this is my tenth year teaching art at Parkview Middle School. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I earned my bachelor of Art Education degree at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Together with my husband, I owned and operated a commercial photography studio in Cincinnati for 15 years. I believe that art is essential to the educational experience because it helps to build self confidence, problem solving skills and fosters self expression.
