Geography, simply put, is the study of Earth. Often when we think of geography, we only think about physical geography: continents and oceans, islands and lakes, mountains and valleys. This is only somewhat accurate.
Geography actually includes much more than just physical features. It includes political features like countries and cities that have been established by people to help organize our world. It includes cultural geography so that we may understand how people live their lives and how they enrich their lives through customs. It incorporates history to help us understand how our current world came to be.
All of this is geography. Geography is life. Welcome.
