Assessment & Accountability

To meet the requirements of No Child Left Behind (NCLB) the Ashwaubenon School District must administer standardized tests (Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam or WKCE) each year in grades 3-8 and grade 10 to determine proficiency levels in reading and mathematics. In grades 4, 8, and 10 students are also tested in the areas of science, social studies, and language arts. WKCE

In addition to standardized state tests (WKCE) students in grades K-6 are assessed three times yearly to determine proficiency levels in reading. District Writing Assessments are administered to students in grades K-5 three times yearly.
