IDENTIFICATION

The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) requires that gifted and talented pupils shall be identified in kindergarten through grade 12 based on multiple measures. The identification tools used by the Ashwaubenon School District include the following:

SAGES-2  Program (Grades 3, 4, 5)

EXPLORE Test (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

WKCE Exam (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10)

Parent Nomination (Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Self-Nomination (Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Teacher Nomination (Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
