Substitute Teachers
 

The District accepts all applications (teaching and support staff) exclusively via the Internet through the Wisconsin Education Career Access Network  WECAN.
All substitute teacher applicants must hold a current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction License.
Three Year Permits are not accepted if you do not have a degree in education.
As openings occur in our substitute pool, applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.

 

Substitute Teacher Openings

We are not currently accepting applications for substitute teachers in any subject area.
 

 

Substitute Support Staff/Noon Duty Openings

The District accepts all applications (teaching and support staff) exclusively via the Internet through the

  • Classroom Aides
  • Special Education Aides
  • Food Service
  • Noon Duty Supervisors (Inside and Outdoor)

 

 

Requirements for all new substitutes
All new substitutes are required to provide proof of a valid TB test and pass a criminal background check prior to being added to the substitute list. The cost for the background check is $10 and is conducted by the Ashwaubenon School District. New substitutes will also attend an orientation session which will include:

Substitute Rate of Pay for 2011 - 2012

Teachers
     $140 per day, or
     $73 per half day only, or
     $173.70 per day for long term

Support Staff
     $10.00 per hour for Classroom or Special Ed Aides
     $9.75 per hour for Food Service
     $9.25 per hour for Noon Duty Supervisors
